Cat Rodie

Cat Rodie is one of Australia’s most prolific freelance journalists. Her work has appeared in Good Weekend, marie claire, The Australian Women’s Weekly and ELLE. Cat also writes a monthly column for MiNDFOOD magazine.  Since Cat has been freelancing, she has written about topics as diverse as Shaken Baby Syndrome and sweet potato toast (don’t ask her about her toaster). Her career highlights include interviewing the former president of Ireland Mary Robinson, cooking icon Maggie Beer and comedian Celeste Barber.

Before embarking on a career change, Cat was a learning and development consultant specialising in people skills such as communication, negotiation and interviewing. Cat was co-winner of the ANZCOG Media Excellence Award in 2017. She is also an ambassador for the Code READ dyslexia network.
