"I got published!": Kate Wilson

We love hearing from our students no matter what they have to say, but when we hear of a student being published, we just want to shout it from the rooftops! We’re a little scared of heights, so we’ll go with a blog post instead.

Kate says:

Just wanted to let you know I completed your Online Magazine and Newspaper Writing Stage 1 course late last year with Alison as our advisor.

Recently I wrote my first article and submitted it to CHILD magazine who, I am ecstatic to say, have accepted it for publication.

So I wanted to thank you for your guidance without which I am sure I would not have had this early success. The fee they are paying me more than covers the cost of the course, so I have recouped my outlay immediately!

I am already working on my next article, and looking forward to a career as a freelance writer.

Thank you so much Australian Writers Centre!

Congratulations Kate!

If you have a success story to share with us, you can do so right here. We’ll share it with the world!
