“I got published!”: Penny Webb

We love hearing from our students no matter what they have to say, but when we hear of a student being published, we just want to shout it from the rooftops! We’re a little scared of heights, so we’ll go with a blog post instead.

Penny says:

Couple of wins today, beautiful people! Got my hands on the Cook Islands article I wrote for Out & About With Kids. Three pages in the Family Traveller section of this gorgeous magazine. Very excited. And I'm stoked with a profile piece I did for the local magazine I edit, the Hills District Independent Magazine. It was a cover story and I talked/convinced/begged by publisher into giving me the whole page – our articles are normally 400-600 words but I just knew this one has some legs because Three Birds Renovations are kicking some major goals at the moment. She relented and I got 1200 words. :) The front cover and the article came together well.

Thanks again to this wonderful group for all the knowledge-sharing and encouragement.

Congratulations Penny!
