This week’s competition to help us tick over to July is a biography of a dog. That’s right, it’s RALF by Anne Crawford — telling the story of Ralf the giant Schnauzer therapy dog and the joy he has brought to sick children at Royal Children’s Hospital for years.

Ralf’s tale (tail?) is full of twists and turns, documenting his path from unruly pup with a big barking problem through to his remarkable therapy role. Anne Crawford brings his story to the page in an entertaining and heart-warming way, and we have one copy of this book to give away, thanks to our friends at Allen & Unwin.

There are many ways to describe Ralf. But to win, simply describe YOUR pet in one word (provide what animal they are and their name too!). The answer that makes us smile the widest will win the book!

This competition has now closed – thanks for your entries! Winners will be announced in our weekly newsletter.
