COMP CLOSED ‘Ribbit Rabbit Robot’ by Victoria Mackinlay

“This lamp is enchanted and I am the genie…
I'll grant all your wishes but DON'T be a meanie …”

This week, you have the chance to win a wonderful new picture book from AWC alumna Victoria Mackinlay. The book is Ribbit Rabbit Robot – illustrated by Sofya Karmazina.

Victoria completed the Writing Picture Books course to gain the practical skills she needed to follow her dreams of becoming a children’s book author. The idea for Ribbit Rabbit Robot was formed after some funny bath time conversations Victoria had with her daughter.

When a friendly frog, a greedy rabbit and a robot with a short fuse find a magic lamp, chaos follows and friendship is found!

  • A hilarious tale about kindness and always reading the fine print.
  • Stunningly detailed illustrations paired with simple alliterative text. Perfect to read aloud.
  • Themes include selfishness, greed, and friendship and the importance of paying attention.
  • Ideal for 4-10 year olds.

Another great book for bedside storytime, and we have THREE copies to be won this week. To be in to win, simply tell us YOUR FAVOURITE WORD BEGINNING WITH “R” (and why it’s your favourite). Our favourite three answers will WIN a copy of this book!

Entries close midday Monday 13 April, Sydney/Melbourne time.

THIS COMPETITION HAS NOW CLOSED. THANKS FOR YOUR ENTRIES! WINNERS WILL BE CONTACTED BY EMAIL AND ANNOUNCED IN OUR NEWSLETTER.
