COMP CLOSED: Win a ‘Figgy’ book pack! (FIVE to be won)

The hot title on so many industry award shortlists in 2015 was Tamsin Janu’s debut young fiction novel, Figgy in the World. With the recent release of its sequel, Figgy and the President, we have FIVE packs of both books to give away!

One of the reasons we love this book is that Tamsin is an AWC graduate. In fact, she came up with the idea of her book on the second day of her course! See her story here.

Tamsin Janu
Graduate of Australian Writers' Centre, author of “Figgy and the President” and “Figgy in the World”

The title character, Figgy, is a young girl living in Ghana. Through the books, she will win you over with her optimistic and innocent view of the wide world, all told through Tamsin Janu’s delightfully readable text.

As we mentioned, we have five packs of the two books to give away in this competition. And in a first, we’re going to reserve ONE of the packs for an entrant aged 13 years or younger! (Primary teachers – get your class to enter!)

One of the only complaints Figgy has is her unusual name. So, to be in to win, simply invent an even more unusual character name (first and last name) that you think would make a great sounding book character. That’s it!

Only one entry per person allowed and we’ll choose our five favourites to each win a pack.

ENTER USING THE FORM BELOW. Kids, make sure you tell us your age at the end of your entry!

Entries are now closed.
