Alexandra Spring is a journalist, producer and editor, who has worked at the ABC, Guardian Australia and Vogue Australia. She’s written news and features stories on arts, culture, fashion, environment, sustainability, lifestyle, and many more topics. Her popular column ‘How We Stay Together’ ran for almost two years in Guardian Australia, and she presented the podcast ‘The History of Wastefulness’ for the BBC’s World Service.
In addition to these publications, her stories have appeared in Elle Australia, Sunday Life, InStyle Australia, Vogue UK, Vogue Girl, GQ Australia, The Walkley Magazine and Your Garden. She’s now the editor of UNSW’s Newsworthy, the news and features site for emerging student voices. Alexandra has interviewed numerous celebrities including Cate Blanchett, Geoffrey Rush and Miranda Kerr, but her favourite stories are about ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Aside from writing, she loves arts and culture and enjoys writing plays in her spare time.
