When Australian Writers’ Centre presenter Judith Rossell’s gorgeous book Withering-by-Sea was a runaway hit, we were super stoked. Now, we get to join the heroine Stella Montgomery for a brand new adventure in the sequel we’ve been eagerly awaiting, Wormwood Mire.
Judith won lots of awards for Withering-by-Sea including an Indie Award, a Children’s Book Council of Australia Honour Book Award, and was shortlisted for the Prime Minister’s Literary Awards.
In Wormwood Mire Stella goes to live in an old family house with two strange cousins and their governess. And apparently there’s something down in the lake…
And, according to the media release, there are more Stella Montgomery books on the horizon:
