We love hearing from our students no matter what they have to say, but when we hear of a student being published, we just want to shout it from the rooftops! We’re a little scared of heights, so we’ll go with a blog post instead.
I was published in my absolute favourite magazine, MiNDFOOD. My article’s headline is in the largest font on the front cover! The lead is something I included in my pitch; it’s surreal to think back to my pitch and then see my words in print on a page of my favourite glossy magazine. I also interviewed one of my favourite cooks, Maggie Beer, for the article.
The article is about how the process of cooking can help enhance mental wellbeing.
After a very successful week, I’m an even bigger fan of Australian Writers’ Centre. I’m celebrating my success by enrolling in the Travel Writing course.
