Short story challenge: January 2018

As we roll on through your writing summer (apologies to those reading this in freezing northern hemisphere conditions) we thought we’d give you a helping hand – to help flex your writing muscles and kick off 2018.

It’s a short story challenge (because we know how much you love these!).

The parameters:

  • Your story must be no more than 50 words in length
  • It must include the three words “SUMMER”, “EIGHTEEN” and “DINOSAUR”
  • It must end with the sentence “She never saw it coming.”

THIS CHALLENGE HAS NOW CLOSED. THANKS FOR YOUR STORIES! WE'LL BE SHARING SOME OF OUR FAVOURITES IN OUR 18 JANUARY 2018 NEWSLETTER – ALONG WITH SOME EXCITING NEWS!
