This week we’re giving away three copies of a new book A Letter from Paris by Louisa Deasey. Louisa is a Melbourne-based writer who has been published widely in publications such as Overland, Vogue, The Australian, and The Saturday Age. Her first memoir, Love and Other U-Turns, was nominated for the Nita B. Kibble Award for women writers.

A Letter from Paris is a true story of “hidden art, lost romance and family reclaimed”. The journey begins when Louisa receives a message from a Frenchwoman who has found a cache of letters in an attic, written about Louisa’s father – setting in motion a string of events. From her father’s secret service in World War II to his relationships with some of the most famous bohemian artists in post-war Europe, Louisa unearths a portrait of a fascinating man, both at the epicentre and the mercy of the social and political currents of his time.

We have three copies of A Letter from Paris to give away. To win one, simply tell us (in 25 words or fewer) which world city you would love to explore and why. Our favourites will win!

ENTER USING THE FORM BELOW.

Entries close midday Monday 24 September 2018, Sydney/Melbourne time.

GOOD LUCK!

THIS COMPETITION HAS NOW CLOSED. THANKS FOR YOUR ENTRIES. THE WINNERS WILL BE CONTACTED BY EMAIL AND ANNOUNCED IN OUR NEWSLETTER.
