Amanda Hampson is a bestselling author of fiction and non-fiction books. Her six adult novels are published by Penguin Random House: The Olive Sisters, Two for the Road, The French Perfumer, The Yellow Villa, Sixty Summers and Lovebirds. Her books have been translated into German, Turkish, Slovenian, Czech and Italian and made into audio-books.
Her screenplay adaptation of The Olive Sisters was long-listed in the American Screenwriters 2009 International Screenplay Competition and her co-written television pilot Coldwater Bay (based on Two for the Road) was shortlisted in the Australian Writers’ Guild Prime Time competition.
She has been a writing teacher and mentor for more than a decade.
