Amanda Hampson

Amanda Hampson is a bestselling author of fiction and non-fiction books. Her latest novel is Lovebirds, published by Penguin Random House. Her other adult novels include Sixty Summers, The Yellow Villa, The French Perfumer, The Olive Sisters, and Two for the Road, all also published by Penguin Random House. Her books have been translated into German, Turkish, Slovenian, Czech and Italian and made into audiobooks.

Amanda's screenplay adaptation of The Olive Sisters was longlisted in the American Screenwriters 2009 International Screenplay Competition and her co-written television pilot Coldwater Bay (based on Two for the Road) was shortlisted in the Australian Writers’ Guild Prime Time competition.

Amanda has been a writing teacher and mentor for more than a decade.
