Danny Parker, Presenter

Danny Parker is a teacher whose first three books were published to critical acclaim; he has two more scheduled for publication and four others already in development with publishers.

His first book secured him a notable award from The Children’s Book Council of Australia while his second was voted WA Picture Book of the Year in 2012. His third book, Parachute, was shortlisted for the CBCA Picture Book of the Year in 2013 and was added to the prestigious White Ravens list.

Danny holds an honours degree in theatre from Leeds University and a Diploma of Education and has recently been appointed as writer in residence at Hale School.

Danny teaches Writing Picture Books.
